FAQ’S about private adult + family parties- PORTAGE PARK

  • 20 people or less - inquire about maximum guests allowed per the menu you choose. Minimum 8 people.

  • You may bring decorations.

  • You may bring in celebration cake - no charge.

  • We provide glassware, openers, ice for BYOB.

  • You will be charged for the confirmed number of guests.

  • We can accommodate most allergies with advance notice.

  • All menus can be made vegetarian - most can be made vegan.

  • Food is served family style.

  • You will take home any leftovers if you wish.

  • There is easy, metered street parking on Milwaukee Ave.

Empanadas + Chipotle Salsa
Guests learn how to make a flaky dough for delicious empanadas filled with Black Beans and Cheese or Argentinian Beef.
This hands on class will have you folding empanadas like a pro!

Take n’ Bake Focaccia Art with Fresh Herbs
Guests make a yeasted dough and drizzle with olive oil + herbs + top with veggies and other tasty things.

Veggie Potstickers with Dipping Sauce
Guests prepare vegetables and pork with garlic and ginger to create a delicious filling. They then learn how to fold and form dumplings with pleats. The final step is learning how to steam and pan fry dumplings to perfection.

Homemade Flatbreads + Whipped Ricotta Dip
Guests learn to make their own homemade flatbreads using rolling pins, pasta machines and pastry wheels to create beautiful shapes. They can get creative with the addition of fresh and dried herbs, hard cheeses and spices. They will also make a Whipped Ricotta Dip to enjoy with their flatbread!

Homemade Ricotta + Pizza Dough/ Pizza Bianca
Making homemade ricotta cheese is so much fun and we’ll use it to top fresh pizza dough for an amazing Pizza Bianca. Each guest takes home the dough that they made in class.

Take n’ Bake Cinnamon Rolls
Learn how to make an enriched yeasted dough for classic Cinnamon Rolls in this 100% hands on class. Each guest will create their own cinnamon & sugar filling and frosting, as well.

Apple Galette
Guests will learn how to make the perfect all butter pie pastry in this hands on class. They’ll get to practice rolling it for a free form pie or “galette” filled with apples and cinnamon.

Creperie 101
Guests learn how to make their own crepe batter to take home for morning crepes. They then learn how to make their own crepes using a simple skillet! No fancy equipment needed. Guests can fill their crepes with delicious sweet fillings: chocolate ganache, whipped cream, fruit and more.

Mochi Donuts with Ube Glaze
These soft, chewy donuts are slightly addictive and so fun to make. Guests will learn how to make a simple donut glaze as well as an UBE glaze, which is so delicious and wonderfully purple!

Homemade Pop Tarts
Guests learn how to make a delicious pastry that they’ll fill with chocolate ganache or fruit jam. Once out of the oven, guests will frost and decorate. So much fun! And they are so delicious.
